class=\"wp-block-heading\">La nostra missione.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Questo portale, fondato nell&#8217;aprile 2025, nasce per offire un luogo di incontro e di proficua discussione a tutti gli appassionati e professionisti nel campo delle Digital Humanities ed in particolare a coloro che in Italia o altrove impiegano l&#8217;informatica e le nuove tecnologie per ricostruire virtualmente citt\u00e0, siti storici ed archeologici, ma anche per preservare e tramandare alle generazioni che verranno il patrimonio culturale, digitalizzando manoscritti, antichi libri, stampe, mappe e vedute.<br><br>Con il tempo le varie sezioni del portale, per il momento ancora in fase di costruzione, si arricchiranno di materiale, collegamenti utili, bibliografia. <br><br>Se avrete dei contenuti interessanti e pertinenti al tema da segnalarci saremo molto lieti di pubblicarli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">DISCLAIMER<br><br><em>Il nome del dominio riecheggia, intenzionalmente, quello di un vecchio sito istituzionale dell&#8217;Universit\u00e0 di Bologna, non pi\u00f9 attivo, il portale del corso di dottorato di ricerca in Storia e Informatica, frequentato dal fondatore di questo sito negli anni 2009-2012, <strong>ma NON \u00e8 in alcun modo affiliato con Unibo o con altre realt\u00e0 accademiche<\/strong>.<br>Vuole essere un tributo a quei pionieri che per primi hanno unito le due discipline in Italia, in particolare la professoressa Francesca Bocchi ed una ideale browsers offer the ability to automatically translate pages into one&#8217;s own language, so an English translation might seem unnecessary, but at least the most important pages of the portal (introductions, privacy and cookie policies, resources) will present bilingual text to accommodate those without a browser with an automatic translator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our mission.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">This portal, founded in April 2025, was created to provide a place of meeting and fruitful discussion for all enthusiasts and professionals in the field of Digital Humanities and in particular for those in Italy or elsewhere who employ information technology and new technologies to virtually reconstruct cities, historical and archaeological sites, but also to preserve and pass on cultural heritage to generations to come by digitizing manuscripts, ancient books, prints, maps and landscape views.<br><br>In time the various sections of the portal, which are still under construction for the time being, will be enriched with material, useful links, bibliography. <br><br>If you have interesting content relevant to the topic to point out to us, we will be very happy to publish it.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DISCLAIMER<br><br><em>The domain name intentionally echoes that of an old institutional site of the University of Bologna, no longer active, the portal of the PhD course in History and Computer Science, attended by the founder of this site in the years 2009-2012,
